Call for Proposals: Innovative projects

In the light of the ongoing covid-19 pandemic will this year’s innovative window for project funding focus on the reconstruction after covid-19. Trade unions are greatly affected. The risks of reduced membership, loss of membership fees and lack of possibilities to organise are affecting the whole trade union movement. The social and economic effects are extensive and has hit women and vulnerable groups particularly hard. The conditions for democracy, human rights and the shrinking democratic space for civil society has been ever more restricted. Organising, capacity building and a well-functioning social dialogue are important solutions to address this consequences of the pandemic.

The innovative funding window is aimed to support projects that will mitigate the effects of the pandemic and contribute to a gradual reconstruction after covid-19. The projects should be linked to the four thematic areas of Union to Union. The call is open to all Swedish trade unions and/or Global Union Federations.
